Based in Tavistock, Devon, Rowan Edwards can deal with all aspects of planning work in the South and Southwest of England. A broad range of planning work is undertaken, including negotiations with local authorities prior to, and during, planning applications, giving advice to architects together with professionals on the planning system and generally advising clients as to the potential of planning consent being granted.

The practice deals with many planning appeals and Peter Rowan acts as both expert witness and advocate for private clients and public authorities.

Peter Rowan also advises and represents clients at Local Plan Inquiries which deal with land allocation in the emerging Local Plans.

The practice also has a wide range of public sector clients and Peter Rowan regularly assists local authorities in the preparation for, and attendance at, planning appeals acting again as expert witness or as advocate.
